Senior Systems Engineer

Description
Support management of the systems engineering and technical effort, and are accountable for CSSS system engineering functions, products, technical performance metrics, and measures of effectiveness. These include requirements management and control, verification and validation, systems analysis, specialty engineering, technical integration, and testing and test facilities. Support technical management of subcontractor and vendor activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor Degree in the engineering with an advanced degree preferred.
•Training in systems engineering and project management.
•Individual must have excellent skills in communication, writing, analysis, design, systems, and math.
•Minimum 8 years direct technical experience planning, implementing, and performing NASA, DoD, and/or Industry systems engineering and test and verification processes.
•Direct experience planning, developing and delivering systems engineering and test and verification products.
•This includes requirements, specifications, verification, validation, analysis, trades, test, and certification procedures, protocols, and plans.
•Experience developing and/or operating Space Systems with hands-on experience in hardware/software/electronics development and certification is a plus.
