Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Develops list of activities, timelines, logistic requirements, environmental requirements, personnel requirements, and other operational characteristics for nuclear air sampling modeling and simulation studies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Collects, analyzes, models and runs software simulations on existing WC-135 operational data.
? Employs ORCA model to establish best, worst, typical operational models for sampling operations.
? Collects, analyzes and models operational data for alternative reconnaissance platforms.
? Creates reports, briefings and comparative analyses from modeling data.
? Develops air sampling platform recommendations based on operational suitability and risk analyses.
? Assesses optimal quantities of air sampling equipment, platforms, and spares inventory.
? Determines optimal supply chain structure.
? Supports program reviews by senior DoD officials.
? Sets up, administers and runs ORCA modeling tool.
EDUCATION:
MA or MS in Operations Research, Mathematics, Management Science or Information Systems.
REQUIRED SKILLS:

? Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
? >5 yrs experience with DoD operational modeling and simulation.
? Knowledge of DoD airborne reconnaissance programs.
DESIRED SKILLS:
? ORCA experience
? TSC/SCI clearance

Minimum Requirements

  • Education : Master's Degree in Mathematics
  • Experience : 5 years - Research & Development
  • Clearance : Secret clearance, currently active
