Job Description
The Army Family and Morale Welfare and Recreation Command (FMWRC) requires the services of a Community Support Coordinator assigned to each State Family Assistance Center, or region to coordinate and assist Family member programs and policies that support the United States Army, the Army National Guard and the Army Reserve. Primary duties will include: Program Integration: Improve and meet the social service needs of Soldiers and Families through appropriate integration of Family Program Services from all components in the state. Ensure distribution of up-to-date and cutting edge resources in accordance with established standards and regulatory requirements for Soldiers and Families who are geographically dispersed from Family support facilities. Liaison: Update the information in the US map portal website; network with other CSCs and DoD Quality of Life Liaisons to ensure a framework exists to implement all aspects of Army OneSource; research and facilitate partnerships with community agencies; coordinate the state Inter–Service Family Assistance Committee (ISFAC); coordinate ISFAC meeting logistics; enhance ISFAC member recruitment; develop/update resource listings of available services and their location, to include military and civilian for inclusion in the resource guide/SMART book. Evaluation: Possess in-depth knowledge of state Family program site locations to ensure uniformity of delivery of services, assess needs, and provide guidance; participate in a weekly regional teleconference with all designated Community Support Coordinators within that region; assist in the collection and analysis of data from multiple sources and recurring reports to be sent to Army OneSource for review; provide a monthly activity report to FMWRC, NGB, and USARC; mandatory participation in a weekly regional teleconference with assigned CSCs to share best practices; provide weekly and monthly reports to the COR and the Army FMWRC, NGB, and USARC representative detailing major projects and contacts made; ensure all component staff is aware of standard training materials, Op Ready, AFTB, The Box, etc, and that the staff are aware of how to order materials; participate informally and regularly between the component Family program representatives and the COR; and other duties assigned by the Army OneSource Project Officer
Minimum Requirements
- Experience : 2 years - Government Policy
- Skill : Intermediate in Counseling
