Job Description

Qualis Corporation is an award-winning Woman-owned Small Business providing services to Federal customers throughout the United States. We are looking for a Capture Manager dedicated to achieving high standards of quality and excellence.

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree desired. Qualified candidates will have 7-10 years of business development/strategic capture experience with DOD Engineering Services. Must have a record of successful new business development and posses demonstrated ability as a capture manager leading business development teams from pursuit decision to award. Ability to influence decision-makers; be knowledgeable of and able to strategically position the company for new growth. Extensive knowledge of the military, its decision makers, strategic direction, capability and technology gaps, and be able to convert this knowledge into new business strategies. Candidate must have existing relationships with customer decision-makers in US Air Force, preferably with the Air Force laboratories. Candidate must have a proven track record of capturing Air Force Services contracts in the areas of Armament, Aeronautical, and Space Systems Engineering, Test & Evaluation, and Acquisition and Program Management Support. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Must have proven negotiating skills. Dedicated to achieving the standards of quality and excellence.

Candidate will be responsible for formulating strategies and plans to capture new business and lead capture-related activities, focusing on qualifying and capturing government acquisitions, programs, and emerging opportunities in Air Force and NASA markets. The total new business capture life cycle will include: Opportunity qualification and positioning; Proposal oversight support; Developing and executing win strategies and long range capture plans; and Developing and maintaining customer business relationships in Government markets. Candidate must be dedicated to achieving the standards of quality and excellence.
